8/21/2008 - City Council to consider options to fill Treasurer vacancy
On Wednesday, Aug. 20, City Treasurer Mike Reynolds informed the City Council and staff of his retirement after more than 28 years as Redlands City Treasurer. At its Sept. 3 meeting, the Redlands City Council will discuss options to fill the vacancy for the remainder of Reynolds' term.

8/20/2008 - City recognizes private efforts to 'go green'
The City of Redlands wants to encourage local organizations and businesses to go green and now will publicly recognize those who do.

8/4/2008 - Driver extricated from vehicle after broadside collision
Redlands Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to extricate the driver of a vehicle who was trapped after her car was hit broadside Saturday afternoon.

8/20/2008 - Police seek help identifying sexual battery suspect
Redlands Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a sexual battery suspect who grabbed a 13-year-old girl as she walked and attempted to pull her clothing off. Police also believe the man may be linked to similar incidents in the city of Colton.

8/18/2008 - Police seek public's help in identifying vehicle used in assault
Investigators have release surveillance images of a vehicle involved in a "road rage" assault last month and are asking for the public's help in locating the vehicle and identifying the suspect.

8/15/2008 - Police investigate early-morning assault in orange grove
Police are investigating an early morning assault in an orange grove that left a man hospitalized.
